The Melancholy

Tears of blood fall from my broken heart.
I never thought we would be this far apart.

When you held me, you said "forever."
Now that you're gone, I know you meant "never."

Saying you love me with gush in your eye,
Well that was a cold-hearted lie.

Your tender touch, a soft kiss,
Two things about you I will surely miss.

King Edd sits still thinks about you,
His face is wet with tears past due.

He should've cried a long time ago,
But he Loved you so,
He couldn’t understand the pain U’d put him through.

I know they say love is blind,
But I had only you always on my mind.

A hurt so deep it cuts like a knife, 
But wounds will heal and I'll go on forever in my life.

I remember the first time we met. It is something I will never forget. The beauty that was shown in your face Takes me to a very special place. A warm feeling as you walked into the room. The night before, I made you mad, I wasn't appreciating, the love that I had, I came home so drunk, I was really quite late, I left you alone, sitting home there to wait. I was too self involved, I wasn't using my head, Alcohol took over, its hunger I fed, I was drinking too often, I thought I was fine, Too blinded to realize, the problem was all mine.
